Commissions Types of Prompts: Give me a link to a youtube video of your favorite song and I will write a poem about the emotions it makes me feel. For example: [link] this poem entitled Paying the Debt was written while listening to Obsession 2.0 by Collide. Give me a word, I give you a poem! (You can also give me a phrase.) One place where I used this technique was in this poem here: [link] where my phrase was Colorless Bride. If you can link me to a photo you like or one you took, I will use it as my inspiration! An example being: [link] where I was looking at Rorschach Ink Blots. My Prices: Short poems for me are 3-5 stanzas long. I will not give you anything less than 3 stanzas. An example of this poem type here: [link] Medium length poems are from 6-12 stanzas in length. Example shown here: [link] Long poems are 13-infinate stanzas. An example would be: [link] If you would like anything special included in your poem (i.e. a name, a place, a pickle) feel free to note me with your specific requirements! Please keep in mind that poetry is very subjective. If you honestly hate the product of your commission, please note me and I will be more than willing to revise my writing or create another piece. I would not expect you to pay for something you hate. For this reason, I will not ask for payment until your poem has been completed. |
I really appreciate anyone who is willing to spare a few points to help me towards my 2,000 point goal! Once it has been reached, I will choose two deserving deviants and award them each a premium membership! |
![]() I collect old books and I read more than I'd like to admit. I enjoy reading written dialogue more than actual social interactions...because I'm just that awkward, haha. No, actually I really am the most awkward person you will probably ever meet. My favorite book is The Great Gatsby followed closely by To Kill a Mockingbird. I love classic literature and am trying to read as much of it as humanly possible. My hero is William Shakespeare and I possess an 1877 edition of As You Like It. The book I have most recently fallen in love with is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I also adore Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. I am always open to book suggestions! Feel free to shout me a few! |

The Fictional Part of Existence [link] I paint myself in volumes And bind back the tendrils Of meadow sweet And summer orange. And every breath Is the poetry of your addiction And the fleeting touch Of illuminated letters. The fictional part of existence Is drenched in the sad sound Of your footprints in the marsh And the silver full moon. And every spun thread By spiders in the morning Catches the dew And drapes the faults. Pages strewn With the ink of ages Sit peacefully by the riverbank Returning to silt. |
"If I could tell you word by word, gradually you'd take it from me." - Jack Steadman, Word by Word "Ocean blue, what have I done to you? Cut so deep, yet growing through and through." - Alex Trimble, Sun "I saw that day, lost my mind. Lord, I'm fine, maybe in time, you'll want to be mine. - Gorillaz, El Manana “Experience is merely the name men gave to their mistakes.” - Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” - Scott F. Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby “Thomas Edison's last words were 'It's very beautiful over there'. I don't know where there is, but I believe it's somewhere, and I hope it's beautiful.” - John Greene, Looking for Alaska "Poems don't always have to rhyme, you know. They just have to be creative." - Sam Shakusky, Moonrise Kingdom |
